For families, the location is close to educational institutes throughout all key stages. There are around nine primary schools in the local area, and some excellent secondary schools in both Salford and Manchester. Most notably New Broughton Village has a new two-form entry Primary School  with a Children's Centre Hub, opened in September 2011, along with a public park covering 12.3 acres of land. The new school extends and support all children as individuals and helps them achieve their appropiately high aspirations. The Children's Centre Hub offers health services, family support, outreach services, access to information on childcare, training and employment advice. This will play an important part in the regeneration of the area.
